New Delhi: Royal Enfield launched its cheapest bike Hunter 350 in August 2022 at an initial price of 1.5 lakhs. At this attractive price point, the Hunter has become one of the best selling motorcycles in the segment. The Hunter 350 comes in two variants – Hunter Retro and Hunter Metro. Both get different color and equipment options. The Hunter Retro appeals to customers with a lower budget, while the Metro variant offers more advanced features, hence the higher price tag. Hunter 350 sales have crossed the 1 lakh units mark in the last 6 months itself. It is the best selling model for Royal Enfield after the Classic 350.
Steady sales
In August 2022, Hunter 350 had the highest sales of more than 18 thousand units. In the months of October and November, Hunter’s sales were around 15.5 thousand. That is, on an average, about 16.7 thousand units of this bike were sold every month.

Available in these colors
Hunter 350 is available in the market in Rebel Blue, Rebel Red, Rebel Black, Dapper Ash, Dapper White and Dapper Gray color options. As a feature, it gets a circular instrument cluster with a small tripper navigation pod. Talking about the design, it gets round halogen tail lamp with oval shaped turn indicators and black alloy wheel round headlamp, split grab rails. The branding of ‘Royal’ and ‘Enfield’ has been given on both sides of the fuel tank. The bike is built on a twin downtube frame.
How is the engine?
The bike gets a ground clearance of 150mm, 800mm high seats and a wheelbase of 1,370mm. The top speed of this bike is 114 km/h. It gets telescopic suspension of 41 mm and rear suspension of 102 mm. RE Hunter 350 gets single cylinder, 4 stroke, SOHC engine from Classic 350, which produces 20.2 hp power at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm torque at 4,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
