New Delhi: Royal Enfield has a separate craze among people, especially among the younger generation. The two-wheeler manufacturer is working on the Royal Enfield 650cc platform, and its testing has already begun in India. Currently, the company has not shared any details about it, but the upcoming Royal Enfield 650cc has been spotted during testing.
According to reports and leaked photos, the Classic 650 is completely covered and bears a resemblance to its younger sibling, the Classic 350, in terms of design. Let’s take a look at some of the features and designs you can expect in the upcoming bike.
Royal Enfield Classic 650: Design
As per reports, the bike’s design, including the front look and side profile, along with wire-spoke wheels, resembles an updated or advanced version of the Classic 350. In between, the Classic 650 may feature an LED headlight setup and a 648cc twin-cylinder engine that generates a maximum power of 47 BHP and peak torque of 52 Nm. This sets it apart from the Classic 350.
Reports suggest that the upcoming Classic 650 may come with telescopic front suspension similar to the Classic 350. It could also have dual shock absorbers at the rear. You might expect wire-spoke wheels connected with dual-disc brakes on both sides. The bike could be presented with a standard slipper clutch.
Launch Date and Price of the Upcoming Bike
It is likely that the company may introduce the Classic 650 in the market in early 2025. Additionally, the company will soon share the details of its upcoming platform.
As for the price, it is expected that the Royal Enfield Classic 650 could be launched at a price ranging from INR 3.30 lakhs to INR 3.50 lakhs (ex-showroom).
