In the recent MotoVerse 2024, Royal Enfield showcased the two new models they are planning to launch soon. These were the Classic 650 Twin and the Scram 400. Prices of the bikes have not been released as of yet and the announcement would soon be made in January 2025.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 Twin Design
The classic 650 Twin takes cues from the Super meteor 650. Beyond this the new Scram 400 has distinguished and upgraded powerful engine along with increased torque figures. Further the latest Classic 350 has a inclusion of dual exhausts. The bike would further have the same engine as seen on the interceptor. But its possible that the engine might be in a different state of tune considering, how the bike is a cruiser.
Royal Enfield Classic 650 Specifications
The new 650 classic would be powered by a 647.95 cc engine that churns out 47.04 PS of Power @7250 rpm. And a peak torque figure of around 52.3 Nm@ Torque @ 5650 Rpm. The Bike would have a dual channel ABS with a digital tachometer.
Royal Enfield Scram 440
Apart from the other models that were showcased at the show the, Scram looked distinguished. The bike would be powered by a LS443 engine that would be able to easily handle the off road duties the bike might be subjected to. The new engine would bring about 25BHP @ 6250 RPM, the torque figures of the vehicle would be slightly upgraded too. The Five Speed transmission would be upgraded to, to be able to handle the increased torque that the engine would produce.
New Changes
Even though the bike might seem same like the previous model Royal Enfield has made considerable changes to the chassis of the vehicle. The chassis has been strengthened and made more robust to be easily able to handle the off- road riding that the vehicle might go through.
The bike would also get a host of new features such as a LED TFT display as seen on the Himalayan. The new Scram would be launched in the first half of 2025 and would be priced around RS 2.10-Rs 2.20 Lakh Rs. Both of these bikes are yet to be released in January 2025 soon.
