Renault: French carmaker Renault started the delivery of its cool car Kiger and Triber AMT models based on BS6 Phase 2. Both new cars comply with the new advanced emission norms.
Kiger is known as the family car manufactured by Renault.
According to the information, safety features have been increased as per new safety norms. Now cars will have features like Electronic Stability Program (ESP) for better control on curvy roads, Hill Start Assist (HSA), and Traction Control System (TCS) to prevent car roll-back uphill.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System will be available
The car in its new version, the car gets Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which gives real-time alerts for low air or punctured tyres. Renault Kiger is a compact SUV car. It comes with a choice of 1.0-litre turbo petrol and a 1.0-litre energy petrol engine.
Price range
It will be available at Rs 6.33 lakh ex-showroom price. The car will be available in 8 variants. All variants will have a 999 cc engine. The car has a boot space of 84 litres. The engine of the car has a power capacity of 71.01 Bhp. it will give a mileage of up to 20.0 kmpl. The 7-seater multipurpose car has a ground clearance of 182mm which helps in reducing accidents.
How ESP will work?
When you are driving the car and it takes a sudden turn or applies sudden brakes, the ESP prevents the car from skidding by applying more or fewer brakes according to the need, instead of applying the same brakes to different wheels of the car. This feature gets activated as soon as the rider leaves the car after starting it. It monitors the speed and steering of the car through speed sensors. When the car starts losing control, it starts controlling it.
