New Delhi: Royal Enfield is working on several new motorcycles including 3 new 650cc, the new Bullet 350 and the new Himalayan 450. The company unveiled the SG650 concept at last year’s EICMA.
RE is expected to launch the new Super Meteor 650 and the new Himalayan 450 at EICMA 2022 in Milan, Italy in November 2022. However, Royal Enfield is yet to make an official announcement.
The new RE uper Meteor 650 is a cruiser motorcycle in retro style. In terms of styling, the new cruiser gets a round headlight with a non-adjustable large windshield, chrome crash guards, alloy wheels, forward-mounted footpegs, a flatter rear fender and round taillights and turn signals. It will also come with a twin-pipe exhaust system.

Royal Enfield will also be offering several travel accessories with the bike. The new bike will have a semi-digital instrument console with a smaller pad for navigation navigation.
The new RE Super Meteor 650 will share the engine and platform with the Royal Enfield 650 twins. It will be powered by a 648cc parallel twin engine with fuel injection technology. This engine is capable of producing 47 bhp of power and 52 Nm of torque.
The engine will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. For suspension, the bike could get USD front forks and two rear shock absorbers. The bike will have disc brakes along with standard dual-channel ABS.
Royal Enfield also teased the new Himalayan 450 on its social media account. The new motorcycle will be based on a new platform and equipped with a new powertrain.

The teaser shows that the new bike will have a round LED headlight and a tall windshield. Compared to the regular model, the new Himalayan 450 will have a new fuel tank, front beak, exhaust and side panels.
The new RE Himalayan 450 will be powered by a 450cc engine which is likely to produce around 40bhp and 45Nm of torque. It is significantly more powerful and torquey than the Himalayan 400cc. The current 400cc engine produces 24.3bhp and 32Nm of torque.
Transmission duties will be handled by a 6-speed gearbox instead of the existing 5-speed unit. The bike will have USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear.
