Range Rover Autobiography Vs Mercedes And BMW: Here’s How The SUV Compares To Its German Rivals

JLR’s Range Rover has rolled out the all-new Range Rover Velar Autobiography variant in India. The company has added a more luxurious variant to its SUV lineup. The Autobiography is priced at Rs 89.90 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs 5 lakh more expensive than the Dynamic SE variant.

Range Rover Velar Autobiography: What’s New

The new variant comes equipped with a host of enhancements, ensuring users enjoy a truly luxurious experience. It features a sliding panoramic sunroof, fully extended Windsor leather upholstery, suede cloth headlining, and a Meridian 3D surround sound system. To elevate the comfort quotient, the SUV also includes massage functions, ambient lighting, four-zone climate control, and a cabin air purification system.

Visually, the design remains consistent with previous models, featuring the signature floating roofline, flush door handles, and pixel LED headlights with signature DRLs. The SUV rides on 20-inch Satin Dark Grey alloy wheels with burnished copper accents. The exterior look is further enhanced by a contrasting black roof.

In terms of technology, the Velar Autobiography has a 3D surround camera, terrain Response 2, electronic air suspension, wade sensing, and Adaptive Dynamics to offer a smooth and capable driving experience.

Range Rover Velar Specifications

The new Range Rover Velar is available with both the P250 petrol engine and the D200 diesel engine options. The P250 petrol engine produces 247 BHP and 365 Nm of peak torque. The diesel variant also comes with mild hybrid technology and delivers 201 BHP and 430 Nm of peak torque.
