Ola Electric announced its entry into the electric motorcycle market in August last year and has now confirmed that its first electric motorcycle will be available in showrooms in the first half of FY2026, which means a launch window between June and December 2025. Last year, Ola Electric revealed four e-motorcycle concepts: Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster, and Cruiser.

Ola Looking To Get A Grip On Electric Market
It remains uncertain which of these models will be the first to launch. These new electric motorcycles are expected to strengthen the brand’s presence in the electric two-wheeler market. As of May 2024, Ola Electric claimed nearly 49 percent market share in the electric scooter segment. The electric motorcycle market, however, is still emerging.
“We expect to begin delivery of the motorcycles in the first half of fiscal 2026,” the company wrote. “We plan to further expand our product portfolio to also cover mass-market motorcycles, targeting a wider range of consumers across various product types and price points in the long term,” it added.
While the brand has announced its ambitions in the e-bike sector, other EV manufacturers like Ather Energy, Hero’s Vida, and others also plan to introduce their electric bikes by 2026. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp is expected to bring US-based Zero Motorcycles to India soon.
Currently, Ola Electric’s product lineup consists exclusively of electric scooters, ranging from the S1 X to the S1 Pro.
