New Delhi: Ola Electric has released a new teaser video of its upcoming electric car on the occasion of Diwali. This time around, the teaser also gives a sneak peek of the interiors. The Ola EV SUV is expected to be introduced sometime in 2023. The Indian EV start-up is likely to showcase the concept version of its car at the Auto Expo 2023 to be held in January. The teaser reveals that the octagonal center with a 2-spoke steering wheel has been given, in which the Ola logo is visible.

Backlit touch controls and toggle switches are also visible on the steering. Behind the rectangular shaped steering wheel is blue inerts and a free-standing instrument console. It has a digital speedometer. Its dashboard is with a clean design. There is a slim ambient lighting strip above the dashboard, which goes above the AC vents. It has a landscape-oriented touchscreen, which is in a floating design. Switchgear is not visible on the dashboard. Most of the controls may be given on the touchscreen itself.

Exteriors have also been seen in the teaser, which suggests that the new Ola EV will be a high riding vehicle. Its windscreen is quite upright. It can have cameras instead of ORVMs. On the front, there will be a connecting LED DRL, as seen in the teaser. The company may showcase the EV in multiple body styles including models like crossovers and sedans.

The new Ola EV is expected to pack a battery pack of 70-80kWh, which will be able to offer a range of more than 500km. It can be capable of achieving a speed of 0-100kmph within 5 seconds.
