New Delhi: Electric two-wheeler maker Okinawa Autotech yesterday announced its next three years of strategic growth with the inauguration of its first Research and Development Center in Italy in collaboration with its joint venture partner Tacita. Its company is going to make a total investment of more than 25 million euros.
A cruiser electric bike will come
Soon the company is going to introduce an electric cruiser motorcycle as its first product designed at the Global Center. The company claims that this motorcycle will perform best in its segment at the global level and will get many features equipped with the latest technology. Tacita co-founder Pierpaolo Rigo will head the new technology center and will be based in India with Okinawa’s research and development team.

The company will build a new R&D center
With this Global Research and Development Center, the company will focus on developing a new e-powertrain to support the next generation products for its new product development and upgrading the existing product portfolio.
Experts from 50 countries will work
At this center the company will hire around 50 experts from India and across the world and will start its recruitment program to test the skills of the employees both domestically and internationally. The Tacita website currently has six electric motorcycles listed under the company’s two brands, including the T-Cruise and the T-Race.
