TVS is gearing up to launch an all-new range of Norton Motorcycles across global markets, including Europe, the USA, Asia, and India. India will play a significant role in the revival of the brand, and the company is also planning to retail the new models in India as well.
Sudarshan Venu, Chairman and Managing Director of TVS Motor Company, told Autocar that the company is already in the process of appointing new dealers in India for Norton Motorcycles. TVS has also announced that it will be showcasing the new flagship versions of its V4 superbike as well as an all-new middleweight adventure bike at EICMA 2025.
It has been revealed that the V4 will be available in two versions — the Manx and the Manx R, while the adventure bike will be named the Atlas.
The new bikes will position the Norton brand strongly against contemporary rivals. Norton also plans to manufacture the Atlas adventure bike in India, which could lead to attractive pricing. However, the V4 models will be assembled at the company’s facility in Solihull, UK.
Norton has not yet revealed any details about the prices or specifications of the upcoming bikes. The models are expected to break cover on November 4 at EICMA.
The report also reveals that TVS has six new models in the works. The other bikes are expected to be smaller than the twin-cylinder Atlas.
After acquiring Norton in 2020, TVS Motor Company has invested close to 200 million pounds into the brand, focusing on streamlining operations and guiding the company towards a clear strategy for the future. The new lineup will not feature the older, well-known Commando name, as the brand plans to move away from its former image.
At EICMA, the company will unveil the Manx, Manx R, and the Atlas. With TVS backing its revival, Norton aims to regain its former glory as a legendary motorcycle brand evolving for the modern era.
