With the increasing sales and demand for new SUVs Nissan seems to be getting ready to plan the next few launches meant for the nation. In the recent turn of events, Nissan has revealed its tentative plans for the Indian market in the upcoming few years. In a press release, Nissan has revealed that it would be planning to launch two innovative models one of which would be a MPV bound to launch in 2025 and the other one would be an SUV bound to be launched in the fiscal year 2026.
Launches planned by Nissan
Nissan would plan and execute new plans to strengthen its overall presence in the Dynamic Indian Market, the plans would be directed towards a two -fold goal which would be improving the performance and expanding the overall exports from the nation. Over the next two years the manufacturer would be launching new innovative models to upkeep and further increase their grasp in the Indian Market.
As per Nissan the MPV as well as the compact SUV that the manufacturer plans to launch would be produced in the chennai plant. Nissan would be planning to follow the one car, one world strategy that would be aimed at supporting domestic sales as well as world-class exports. Its possible that Nissan would manufacture in India and would further export overseas.
Nissan has further shared that it would be working towards the goal of reaching about 100,000 units in annual Domestic sales and exports from the nation.
International Plans
Nissan has also revealed its plans it has for the European market and several other markets in the world. For Europe, Nissan plans to further strengthen its EV segment, the brand has planned the launch of 3 new key EV’s which would include the new Nissan Leaf, The New Micra EV as well as the Qashai. The brand has further planned to bring back the Micra in a completely new electric version, the car would be developed in conjunction with Renault and would be equipped with a new generation of e-Power technology. The Nissan Qashqai the other prospective launch would be equipped with a new E-POWER. And for 2026 the brand has shared formidable plans to expand its electric vehicle line-up and launch the new Juke with an electric powertrain.
Nissan would further launch 10 new and refreshed products across different key segments, the launches would include next-generation Electric and Hybrid vehicle technology and Infiniti models.
As per the recent updates, the Renault Triber is also about to get facelifted, since both the brand’s work in conjunction that could be the 7 seater, sub 4-meter MPV that Renault wanted to go beyond and bring into the market. The Road map further includes the launch of a new MPV and further a five-seat compact SUV as well.
