New Delhi: Nissan Magnite 7 Seater: After popular 7-seaters like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens in the Indian market, Nissan may also launch a 7-seater variant of its best-selling Magnite SUV in the coming times with a starting price of 10 Lakh.
Although the company has not given any official information about it, the process of speculation has been going on for a long time. Let us tell you that Nissan has showcased SUVs like X-Trail, Juke and Qashqai in the Indian market in the past.
If media reports are to be believed, Nissan’s upcoming seven-seater will be developed on the CMF-A platform just like the Magnite. Nissan is likely to improve the looks and features of this MPV. In the near future, specific information about this will be available only after the official announcement of the company.
It may see a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that can produce up to 99bhp and 140Nm of torque. This Nissan MPV can be offered with either a manual or a CVT automatic transmission.
7-seat models of popular SUVs
We will reveal that this trend is catching up fast in the Indian market that if the 5-seater SUV has good sales, preparations are starting for its 7-seater variant. A few examples are seen as the MG Hector Plus and the Hyundai Alcazar. The discussion about Alcazar is there because a large number of people consider it to be the 7-digit Creta. However, the company presented it with a completely different name.
Along with the 7-seater Kia Seltos, the 7-seater Tata Harrier is also expected to be launched in India in the near future. In such a situation, it seems advantageous for Nissan, why not bring a 7-seater model of the popular Magnite SUV. However, the company has not made any official statement on the matter.
