India’s leading car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, is preparing to launch its new Dzire. There have been frequent updates about this upcoming model, and sources indicate that the new Dzire will debut next month. However, the specific launch date remains undisclosed. The Dzire has been seen numerous times during testing. If you’re eagerly anticipating the new Dzire, here’s some information for you.
Emphasis on Mileage
Maruti Suzuki is also focused on making the new Dzire economical. It will be equipped with the new Z-Series 3-cylinder engine, delivering 82 hp and 112 Nm of torque, the same engine currently powering the Swift. This engine is known for its excellent performance and will be specifically tuned for the new Dzire. It will come with options for a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. The engine is anticipated to be highly fuel-efficient. The new Dzire will compete with models like the Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and Hyundai Aura.
Introducing Hybrid Technology
The new Dzire might feature hybrid technology for the first time. Maruti Suzuki aims to incorporate hybrid systems into all its vehicles in the coming years, which may increase the cost of the cars. For safety, the new Dzire could be equipped with ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance Systems) safety features.
Expected Mileage Over 30 km/l
The new Dzire will be available in both petrol and CNG variants. The petrol version is anticipated to deliver up to 25 km/l, while the CNG variant could exceed 30 km/l. However, these figures are based on sources and have not been officially confirmed by the company. The new Dzire will feature a single CNG tank, unlike Tata and Hyundai, which now offer dual CNG tanks that maximize trunk space. Without the CNG cylinder, the Dzire is expected to have a large boot space of 378 liters. The current Dzire’s ex-showroom price starts at ₹6.56 lakhs, but the new model might be priced slightly higher.

It will have front-wheel drive and include four power windows. The interior will be styled in black, adding a sleek touch to the cabin.
