A recent update has revealed that Hyundai has been planning to launch a slew of new vehicles in India aimed at improving the brand’s grasp in India. Beyond that the brand also revealed that it would launch a bunch of new Hybrid powertrains that would help equip their vehicles better for stringent yet to be implemented emission norms. The brand had gained its fair share of limelight in the past few days thanks to its extensive plans that include new car launches and the decision to develop the all-new 1.2 litre 4 cylinder turbo Engine in India. In The upcoming few years we would witness Hyundai launching an all-new premium hatchback the Bayon, and the Palisade as well.
Next Gen 1.2 Litre Turbo Petrol Engine
While Hyundai has announced that it would soon be developing the all-new 1.2 litre 4 cylinder Turbo engine in India it has not confirmed any details about the launch timeline. Beyond that it has also been Elucidated that the new Hyundai Creta, as well as the Palisade, would be equipped with Hybrid Powertrain. The Creta might be equipped with a 1.2 liter Powerplant, while the Palisade might be launched with a 1.6 Diesel Hybrid or the 2.5l engine. or an options V6 that powers the Palisade in the International market.
