The most notable updates will be in the features department. Skoda is likely to equip the updated Slavia with Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and other enhancements to match its competitors, particularly the Hyundai Verna, which currently leads the segment in sales. The Honda City, another key rival, also offers ADAS, making this upgrade crucial for the Slavia.

These updates are not limited to the Slavia; they are expected to be shared with the Skoda Kushaq facelift, which is also in development. Both models are built on the MQB A0-IN platform and come with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines. The 1.0-litre engine delivers 114 bhp and 178 Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre engine produces 148 bhp and 250 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual for both engines, with the 1.0 TSI also available with a torque converter automatic and the 1.5 TSI featuring a 7-speed DSG.
Currently, the Skoda Slavia is priced between Rs 11.63 lakh and Rs 19.12 lakh (ex-showroom). In addition to competing with the Hyundai Verna and Honda City, the Slavia also rivals the Volkswagen Virtus.
