The small car segment, that has been the go- to choice for many in India. The importance of the segment has led it to gain new competitors over time. In a recent report, the new Renault Kiger that could be the new addition was spotted testing as well. The test has provided us an update of the changes that the car might go through before being launched in India. The Mid cycle update would probably refresh the new car to get a new equipment list beyond the already rejigged variant and equipment list that was seen with the launch of my 2025 Kiger.
Renault kiger Changes
The SUV that has been spotted was under a heavy camouflage, the exterior changes would be pretty minor. The Car would Possibly witness no new exterior changes. Even the rims and the alloy’s seemed similar to that of the current model. Beyond that the new changes also indicate split headlight setup similar to that of the c shaped lights. Beyond these changes the car might be launched with new and revised front and rear bumpers, and a new Renault Logo.
Interior
The Interior would go through a slew of cosmetic changes, these would involve mild tweaks to the dashboard, with more soft touch interior and materials. Its also possible that the doors as well as the other fabric inserts might get new upholstery updates. An Expansion of the feature list is also likely to be featured as well.
Facelift Engine And Gearbox
The car would possibly go through any new changes the car would continue to be sold over with 72 hp, 1.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and 100 hp. The 1.0 litre turbo petrol engine would likely continue to be offered on the facelift. The transmission options would include a 5 speed manual gearbox, AMT gearbox and CVT auto options as well. The car would be priced between Rs6.10 lakh to Rs 11.25 lakh Rs.
