New Delhi: Vehicle manufacturer Renault-Nissan has announced the launch of three new models in the Indian market. The company will include the new generation Renault Duster, a 7-seater MPV based on Nissan’s Triber and a new entry-level electric car in its portfolio. The company is going to invest around Rs 500 million (Rs 4,000 crore) for its upcoming cars. The new Renault Duster will be launched in India by 2024-2025. This SUV will be designed on the CMF-B modular platform. Nissan’s new 7-seater SUV will also be based on this platform.
How will be the design?
The design and styling of the new Renault Duster will be similar to the Dacia Bigster concept car. Which was introduced in 2021. The car will get LED lighting, advanced fenders, aluminum-styled skid plates on the body panels and design bits. However, less use of more advanced technology will be seen in this.

According to media reports, the new-generation Duster will be bigger than its previous model. Its length will be 4341mm. The interiors could also be similar to the Dacia Bigster concept car. Features like digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger, free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, new switchgear can be seen in this SUV.
How will the engine
The new Renault Duster can get a 1.2L turbo petrol engine with 48V hybrid technology. Which will generate a combined power of 130 bhp. A 1.3L turbo petrol engine can also be seen in this SUV. The car could come with an all-wheel drive system and higher ground clearance and better departure angles.

Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
This car will compete with Maruti Suzuki’s Grand Vitara after launching. The car gets a 1.5L petrol engine with mild hybrid and strong hybrid. The mileage of this car is 27.91 kmpl.
