New Maruti Dzire: The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Dzire has been caught on camera sans disguise, unveiling its sleek and modern exterior. The leaked spy shots indicate that the new Dzire boasts substantial updates, distinguishing it from both its predecessor and the Swift on which the car is based.
New Maruti Dzire: Design
The new Dzire boasts an entirely revamped front-end design, bearing no similarity to the latest Swift introduced earlier this year. The compact sedan features a prominent grille at the front, accompanied by sleek rectangular LED headlamps. The new Dzire features revamped fog lamp enclosures, accompanied by a bold gloss black trim linking the headlamps, and a chrome accent at the bottom.
The Dzire’s rear boasts Y-shaped LED tail lamps, elegantly linked by a chrome strip that spans the tailgate. The rear design includes a boot-lid with a raised spoiler-style element, paired with contouring elements on the bumper. Additionally, top-of-the-line variants will feature stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels.
The leaked interior image reveals that the Dzire will share its cabin layout with the Swift, featuring a 9-inch floating touchscreen display and an updated steering wheel. The Dzire is expected to feature a segment-first electric sunroof. The car will get an analogue instrument cluster paired with a 4.2-inch digital multi-information display (MID). According to media reports, the new Dzire could get ADAS features, likely in higher trims.
Powertrain
The next-gen Dzire will be powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z Series petrol engine. This will produce 82 horsepower and 112 Nm of torque. The Dzire will offer a petrol-CNG variant, with a standard 5-speed manual transmission and an optional automatic gearbox for petrol models.
Maruti is likely to open bookings for the new Dzire soon, with expected delivery timelines slated for mid-November.
