What is ABS and its benefits
ABS technology reduces the risk of accidents. This system runs from the wheel sensor. Those who sense harsh road conditions activate the ABS. In this, sudden braking during an accident gives the driver more time to control the vehicle than the normal braking system.
The sensor automatically engaged the anti-lock brakes. When the wheels of a vehicle lock up when the brakes are applied, there is a possibility of the vehicle skidding dangerously on the road surface (especially on wet surfaces).
Prevents lock-up and skidding
ABS is activated in case of tire slip. This prevents lock-up and skidding in slippery conditions. Using ABS is very different from using regular brakes.
If you are braking normally at a stop sign, red light or slow-moving vehicles ahead of you, the ABS system will not activate. The ABS will automatically get activated when the brakes are applied suddenly at high speeds.
