The next generation Alto 2022 has been developed on Maruti Suzuki’s lightweight HEARTECT platform. Popular hatchbacks such as S-Presso, Wagon R and Celerio are based on this platform. The new Alto is longer and longer than its predecessor and is also more spacious. Many of the Celerio 2022 features that were launched this year can be seen in the new Alto. If the leaked images are to be believed, then it will get a larger grille, new headlights and bumpers, better taillights, as well as a special rear profile and a new roofline.
New Maruti Alto Features (Expected)
Many new features will be available in the new Alto 2022. It gets a brand new dashboard, upgraded console, new touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, keyless entry, start stop button and many other features not available in the current model. While in terms of engine and power, the New Alto 2022 will have a 796cc 3-cylinder petrol engine as well as a 1.0-litre K10C DualJet petrol engine producing 47bhp and 69Nm of torque and 67bhp. does , It will generate power and torque of 89 Nm. New Maruti Alto Price (Expected)
The price of the 2022 Maruti Alto is expected to begin from Rs 3.5 lakh (ex-showroom), with a new top-spec variant expected to be priced well over Rs 5 lakh. A larger engine option with AMT is also expected to reach the Rs 6 lakh mark.
