New Engine – Higher Mileage
Talking about the engine, it is believed that the 1.0 liter K10C Dualjet petrol engine can be found in the new Maruti Alto which generates 65hp power and 89Nm torque.
This engine will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. This is a new engine from Maruti Suzuki that currently powers the Celerio and S-Presso. Once this engine is switched on the Alto, its power can be reduced slightly, but it can also get great mileage. According to sources, the new Alto can give mileage of more than 25kmpl.
Design
The new Alto will now be completely transformed, it will be built on the new HEARTECT platform. The car will be redesigned from front to side and some pictures of it from the rear were leaked recently, the new model will have more width and height. Some glimpses of the current Celerio can be seen in its look. Not only this, now you can also get to see a new cabin in it.

Price
The new model continues to sport a 7.0-inch touchscreen system with support for Apple Car Play and Android Auto. Apart from this, features like push start/stop button, steering mounted audio control with smart key are also available.
The car gets features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, segment-first hill-hold assist. Currently, the ex-showroom price of Alto starts at Rs 3.39 lakh, according to the source, the price of the new Maruti Alto could be Rs 3.49 lakh or Rs 3.69 lakh.
