New Hyundai Verna 2023 launched in India: Price, features and much more!

New Delhi: After a long wait, Hyundai today launched its popular sedan car, Hyundai Verna. The company has kept its introductory price at Rs 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom), which will be Rs 17.38 lakh for the SX(O) 7DCT variant for its top variant. According to the company, it has already received 8,000 bookings for the new car. Whereas new customers can book this car online or by visiting the official dealership with an amount of Rs 25,000.

The new Hyundai Verna will be available in four variants namely EX, S, SX and SX(O). Talking about its exterior colour, it will be offered in 7 single tone colours. Which are Fairy Red, Typhoon Silver, Abyss Black, Atlas White, Tellorian Brown, Titan Grey, and Starry Night. Whereas, in dual tone, black roof with Atlas White and black roof with Fairy Red. Talking about the interior color tone, it gets black and light brown in the low and mid variants. At the same time, a combination of black and red has been given in its upper segment variants.

This Hyundai car has been introduced with Hyundai’s sporty design. The front gets split headlights, a full width LED DRL strip separating the bonnet and bumper with a parametric jewel grille, while the R16 diamond cut alloy wheels with the design in its side profile add to its looks. At the back, it gets a full width LED light bar with H shaped connected tail lamps at the rear, dual tone bumper with Verna logo.

The cabin of the new sedan gets dual screen setup including 1025-inch HD infotainment system with Android and Apple Car Play support and a fully digital instrument cluster, ambient lighting with 64 colours, front ventilated seats with power adjustable driver seat, electric sunroof It also gets three driving modes (Eco, Normal and Sport), along with Blue-Linked connected car technology with 8-speaker Bose audio system and over 65 connected features. Apart from this, there are many features in this car, in which Hindi-English voice commands can be given to commands like sunroof, ventilated seats and turning on AC.

The new sedan is offered with over 65 safety features, of which 30 are standard. ADAS Level 2 with features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Safe Exit Warning. Apart from these, features like 6 airbags ABS and EBD VSM, traction control, TPMS and front and rear parking sensors have also been provided in it.

The new Hyundai Verna is also based on E20 fuel as per the new RDE norms. It gets the same 15L petrol engine as before, which gives power of 115PS and 144Nm. Apart from this, another new engine has been offered, which is an E20 based 15L turbo petrol engine as per the new RDE norms, which is capable of producing 160PS of maximum power and 253Nm of torque. With which 7 speed DCT option has also been added. Diesel engine is not offered in it. At the same time, with its different engine options, this car is capable of giving a mileage of 18.60 kmpl to 20.60 kmpl.
