The all new Honda Amaze is set to launch on December 4. It started reaching to the Honda dealerships ahead of its launch. This third-generation Amaze is a strong contender in the compact sedan segment. It will rival against the recently launched Maruti Dzire and the Hyundai Aura.
New Honda Amaze: Design & Features
The New Honda Amaze features a bold design carrying forward the legacy of its siblings, the Honda City and the Honda Elevate. In front it features a very large grille with honeycomb design as compared to its predecessor. A similar chrome strip runs just above the grille. This version comes with sleek LED Headlamps along with DRL and a similar clamp shell bonnet adding to its premium feel.
In rear, it features a redesigned bumper, a shark fin antenna and a reverse parking camera. These new design elements sets this apart from its predecessor, adding to the modern design aesthetics.
New Honda Amaze: Interior & Features
Inside, the Amaze welcomes with completely redesigned interiors. It features a very minimalistic dashboard layout, similar to its sibling Honda Elevate. The centre holds a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Moving forward it has got a semi-digital instrument cluster with dual tone interiors. However, the other features include a wireless charging pad, a sunroof, automatic air conditioning and rear AC vents.
New Honda Amaze: Safety Features & Powertrain
The prominent safety features include 6-airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, hill hold assist and a reverse parking camera with sensors. According to the reports this version is likely to get various Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features such as lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency breaking.
The engine bay is powered by the same 1.2 litre petrol engine which belts out around 90 bhp and 110 nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual and CVT unit. However the pricing will announced after the official launch on 4 December. The New Amaze will continue to rival with Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Aura and the Tata Tigor.
