New Delhi: Hero MotoCorp is preparing to expand its portfolio and due to this, on the coming 14th, it can unveil its updated bike Xtreme 160R motorcycle with new RDE norms. This bike has been spotted several times during testing.
Hero Xtreme 160R 2023 is expected to be introduced with many essential changes. However, no official information has been given about this bike till now. But as per the spy pictures, the updated bike could get USD forks instead of telescopic suspension. Apart from this, an instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity can be seen in it. Along with this, the company can present this updated model with a new dual tone color option.
Hero Xtreme 160R Engine
The current model of the Extreme 160R model has a 163cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, which gives 14.9hp power and 14Nm peak torque.
However, looking at the test module that has been spotted, it can be seen that it could be offered with an oil-cooled engine. Along with this, some increase in its power can also be seen. At the same time, to compete with the bikes of this segment, it can also be introduced with E-20 based engine.
Hero Xtreme 160R competes with them
Talking about the bikes competing with the updated Hero Xtreme 160R bike, then this list includes TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar N160 and Pulsar NS160. At the same time, an increase of up to Rs 6,000-10,000 can be seen on this new updated variant.
