Jeep has released a new teaser image of their next gen Compass SUV recently. Beyond the first look of new Compass details about the new Compass have been leaked online as well. The car’s launch is just around the corner and hence the Internet has been set abuzz with the new leaks.
New Leaks About The Compass
As per the new leaks the new generation Compass SUV would be based on the STLA platform. THE STLA platform belongs to Stellantis group. The SUV would feature both 2WD as well as 4×4 setup similar to that of the current generation.
The upcoming compass is expected to measure around 4,500 mm in length. The details about the new Meridian are pretty scarce but reports do suggest that the new gen compass would have a pronounced shoulder line a bit bigger than that of the older model along with flared wheel arches and reduced rear overhangs.
Performance Specs
In terms of the powertrains, the car would have a 136 BHP , 48v mild HYBRID unit. Beyond that a new 195 BHP rechargeable plug-in Hybrid and even a 100% electric option. The all electric Jeep compass could possibly be offered wityh three state of tunes such as a 210 BHP, 230 BHP and a top of the line power full 320 BHP version as well.
The compass SUV would be unveiled in the first half of 2025. The vehicle would soon go into production in the second half of the year.
