New Delhi: With their long presence in the market, scooters have certainly evolved over time. Thanks to their practicality and feasibility, they have become an essential part of the daily life of commuters.

However, the fuel consumption of a two-wheeler is one of the most important factors to consider. Here we have compiled a list of best scooters with mileage in India which can help you if you are planning to buy a scooter with good fuel efficiency.

1. Yamaha Fascino Hybrid 125

The Yamaha Fascino in its mild-hybrid estimation is claimed to be India’s most fuel-efficient 125cc scooter. Its fuel consumption is 68.75 km/l.

The scooter is equipped with a 125cc (8.2PS/10.3Nm) air-cooled engine, mated to an intelligent engine generator that acts as a torque assist system to help with smoother acceleration from a standstill or on roads with heavy traffic.

Prices of the new Fascino 125 start at Rs 76,600 for the drum brake variant and go up to Rs 87,830 for the SPL Disc variant (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).

2. Yamaha RayZR 125 

Powered by the same 125cc mild-hybrid scooter as the Yamaha Fascino, the sportier RayZR gets a mileage of around 66kmpl. It comes in five variants: Drum, Disc, DLX, MotoGP and Street Rally Edition, priced from Rs 80,730 to Rs 90,130 (ex-showroom).

3. Suzuki Access 125

The Suzuki Access 125 is powered by a 124cc fuel-injected engine that is claimed to deliver a fuel economy of 64kmpl. It will get a 5-liter fuel tank, which should lead to a range of over 300 kilometers per tank.

Currently, Suzuki offers the Access 125 in three variants: Standard, Special Edition and Ride Connected Edition, priced between Rs 77,600 – 87,200 (ex-showroom).

4. TVS Jupiter

Next in the list TVS Jupiter doing JYADA KA VAADA. It is powered by a 110cc engine that comes with intelliGO idle start/stop to prevent unwanted fuel burning while idling, claiming a fuel economy of 62km per litre.

5. Honda Activa 6G

There are hundreds of thousands of Honda Activas in India, making it the most trusted badge for so many families. The current BS6 compliant Activa 6G is powered by a 109.51cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine tuned to deliver 7.79bhp of peak power and 8.84Nm of peak torque. With a mileage of up to 60 kmpl, the Activa is by far one of the most fuel efficient scooters in India.

The Honda Activa 6G is currently priced at Rs 73,086 for the standard trim, Rs 75,586 for the DLX variant and Rs 76,587 for the Premium edition (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
