New Delhi: There has been a huge increase in the demand for SUV cars in India in the last few years and in this too, people are liking mid-size SUV cars a lot. Most of the customers buying a new vehicle, whose budget is around Rs 15 lakh, mostly give more priority to the cars of this segment. Keeping this choice of customers in mind, MG Motors has launched its new facelift Hector SUV (MG Hector Facelift) in the country some time back. This car competes with Mahindra’s XUV 700. The initial ex-showroom price of this car has been kept at Rs 14.70 lakh. Today we are going to tell you about 5 such major updates of this car which make this car more advanced.

Largest display in the segment

MG gets the segment’s largest 14-inch display in its new Hector facelift. Whereas earlier this car had a 10-inch display. This infotainment system supports Android Auto and wireless Apple Car Play. Along with this, one touch sunroof control, navigation in 5 languages, Jio Saavn Music, live location sharing and tracking have also been provided.

Voice command control

The new facelift Hector has been given the feature of more than 100 voice command controls. More than 50 Hinglish commands have been given in this car. For example, you can give instructions like “Ghar Chalo” to give the command of the house map and “Khul Ja Sim-Sim” to open the sunroof, you can give instructions like increasing or decreasing the petrol pump, fan speed. Along with this, more than 75 connected car features have also been given in this car.

Digital key

The new MG Hector comes with a digital Bluetooth key, which means your smartphone will act as your car key. This feature can be very useful in case of emergency or lost key. Through which you can lock/unlock, start and drive this car. This key can also be shared digitally.

Get more space

More space is seen in the cabin of the new 5 seater Hector. That means boot space, legroom, headroom and rear seats have been given a lot of space everywhere. Due to which the comfort level of this car increases.

Equipped with ADAS

Level-2 ADAS features have been given in the facelift MG Hector. Which includes 11 security features. Which makes driving easy. It also gets Traffic Jam Assist, which lets you drive in heavy traffic without using the steering wheel and race pedal. However, there has been no change in its engine.

Competes with XUV 700

The new Hector competes with the XUV 700 in the market, in which both petrol and diesel engines are available. This car also has the facility of ADAS along with a lot of advanced features.
