New Delhi: Coming into limelight in the Indian market with its electric SUV ZS EV, MG Motor is gearing up to launch its entry-level electric car MG Air EV soon. The MG Air EV can be available for sale in early 2023.

This car comes in a 3-meter-long, 3-4-seater version, and the battery range can be up to 300 km. The MG Air EV will compete with the recently launched Tata Tiago Electric, which is priced between Rs 8.49 lakh and Rs 11.79 lakh. MG Air EV may also be priced below Rs 10 lakh.

2-door MG Air EV

The MG Air EV can be offered in two variants namely Standard Wheelbase (SWB) and Long Wheelbase (LWB) with a height and length of 1.6m and 1.5m as well as 2.6m and 3m. The MG Air EV will be available in 3 and a 4-digit version.

At the same time, in terms of looks and functions, the appearance of this electric car from MG will be quite attractive, and this two-door car will receive many special features, including a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument console, connected car technology and wireless connectivity.

Range 

According to media reports, Tata AutoComp battery is seen in MG Air EV. It is said to get 30kW and 50kW battery packs, which could have a range of 200km to 300km. The MG Air EV will be offered with a single-speed automatic transmission. We will tell you that there will be more electric cars to compete with MG Air EV and Tata Tiago EV in future.
