Mercedes AMG G-Wagon Indian Edition Launched: Two New India-Specific Colorways Steal The Spotlight

Mercedes has finally put an end to the rising anticipation regarding Mercedes G63 AMG G-wagon India Edition. The brand formally launched the new Mercedes AMG G 63 Collectors Edition. The car was designed by Mercedes India Design and R&D team to ensure that it gives the fans in India a proper acknowledgement for the love and support it has received ever since its launch. with the special edition.

With the new Indian Version of the G wagon- the iconic G wagon silhouette would be offered in two new colors that include a Mid Green Mango as well as a Red Mango- both of these would be Matte Finish colors that would be produced in limited numbers to ensure exclusivity. Beyond the colors the Indian G wagon would be available with Multi spoke Golden alloy wheels, To ensure that the buyers get the fair share of vanity the car would be branded with a Collectors Edition Insignia  on the body beading as well as the spare wheel cover on the rear.

The interior of the new G wagon edition would be similar to that of the normal run of the mill G wagon along with a few exclusive touches. The new edition now comes with a beige black interior combination and the car has further been equipped with a  bespoke Open Pore Walnut Wood grab handle on the dashboard.  Mercedes has stepped beyond their normal  routine and has provided the users with the added accessibility to get their name engraved on the bespoke wood door handle. The seats and the interior would further be covered in Catalina beige/ Black Napa Leather Interior with diamond Stitch. The 12.3 inch infotainment screen along with the turbine inspired vents and switchgear remains the same without any change. 

Powertrain  

Mechanically the car would be the same as the normal G wagon it would still be powered by a 4- litre Twin Turbo V8 , that helps it make 585 Hp  and 850Nm of peak torque. Beyond that the Mild Hybrid system further helps the vehicle with 22Psof boost that helps this hefty vehicle in its rampant performance. The engine would be mated to a 9S peed AMG Speed Shift transmission and Mercedes 4 Matic all Wheel Drive system with locking differentials and low range gearbox.

Tech Features 

The Mercedes G wagon Would Include features such as the Mbux infotainment system with dual screens , Burmester 3d surround sound  system , 64 Colour Ambient Lighting . And all of these creature comforts you would expect from an SUV that would cost nearly 4 crores. Mercedes Benz has pledged exclusivity with the promise that only 30 units would be produced. The Price of the standard AMG G 63 has been decided at Rs 3.75 crore and with the rising demand the prices might rise up to Rs 4.3 crore plus customizations.
