Maruti sells all these cars through its premium dealership Nexa. These 5 cars with black edition include Grand Vitara, Baleno, Ciaz, Ignis and XL6. All these cars have been launched in the new Pearl Midnight Black shade. The premium Metallic Black color for cars is in high demand among the customers. Tata Motors and Hyundai Motor also already market many of their cars in Black Edition. While this is the first time for Maruti, when the company has launched its car in Black Edition. Along with this, Maruti has also brought limited edition accessories package.

What did the company say?
Speaking at the launch of Nexa Black Edition and Limited Edition Accessories Package, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “While the company is celebrating its Maruti 40th anniversary, Nexa is also celebrating its 7th anniversary. We are very excited to present the entire range in black edition.” Along with this, he said that the black edition of Nexa cars is a sign of the expectation that customers have from the company. The customers can also avail new limited edition accessories for these vehicles.
Which variants have got the Black Edition?
Under the Black Edition of Nexa, the Zeta and Alpha variants of Maruti Ignis will now be available in Black Edition as well. While the XL6 will be available with the Black Edition in its Alpha and Alpha+ variants. The Zeta, Zeta +, Alpha, Alpha + variants of the new SUV Grand Vitara have been brought in the Black Edition. While all the variants of Ciaz will be available in the new Black Edition. The prices of all these cars will be similar to their regular models. The starting ex-showroom price of the most affordable Ignis is Rs 5.35 lakh.
