Maruti Suzuki’s Invicto: Maruti Suzuki India has named its upcoming multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), which is based on the Toyota Innova Hycross, as the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. The Invicto will be launched in India in July.
Maruti Suzuki has announced to open bookings for Invicto from June 19. However, Maruti Suzuki will reveal the price of MPV Invicto on July 5.
Earlier, Maruti has provided two vehicles to Toyota, the first being the erstwhile Vitara Brezza, which Toyota sold as Urban Cruiser, and the second was the Baleno, which Toyota offers as the Glanza.
Invicto is Maruti’s flagship vehicle
But The Invicto is the first Toyota vehicle that Maruti will sell in India under its own brand name.
Apart from this, a SUV has been co-developed by the Maruti Suzuki India and Toyota Kirloskar Motor. It is available in market with the name of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder in the Indian market.
Toyota Innova Hycross comes in the Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) category. The starting price of Toyota Innova Highcross in the market is Rs 18.55 lakh (ex-showroom). Its top model is available at Rs 29.99 lakh ex-showroom. It has six variants G, GX, VX, VX(O), ZX and ZX(O).
Seven color options are available in Toyota Innova Hycross. After removing the third row of the car, it gets a huge boot space of 991 liters. It gets a whopping 185 mm of ground clearance, which makes it easy to maneuver or maneuver in tight spaces despite its size.
Toyota Innova Hycross has a 2 liter petrol engine. This is a hybrid car; it is given a motor up to 206 Nm. It gets four-wheel drive and this powerful SUV returns a mileage of 23.24 kmpl. It gets a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment display, digital driver’s display, dual zone climate control and ventilated front seats. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging and connected car technology.
The Invicto will be Maruti’s flagship vehicle following its launch in India.
