Maruti Suzuki has issued a recall for 16,041 units of Wagon R and Baleno, comprising 11,851 units of Baleno and 4,190 units of Wagon R. Vehicles with the identified defects were manufactured between July and November, affecting NUM0 of them.
The company initiated the recall due to a potential defect in the fuel pump motor of both the Wagon R and Baleno models, affecting vehicles manufactured between July and November 2019. This defect could lead to the engine shutting down while the vehicle is in operation. Maruti has taken swift action to recall these cars to prevent any inconvenience to customers.
