Maruti Suzuki has revealed its new midsize SUV called the Victoris. It will be the flagship model in the brand’s Arena lineup and will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris will be available in six variants: LXI, VXI, ZXI (O), ZXI+, and ZXI+ (O).
The overall design of the Victoris is inspired by the E-Vitara. Its slim LED headlights with sharp LED DRLs connected by a chrome strip add to its appeal. The boisterous bumpers at the front and rear further enhance the SUV’s stance. It also gets 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, adding to its butch appearance.
Inside, the Victoris features a 10.25-inch central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, along with an 8-speaker Infinity by Harman sound system with Dolby Atmos. The SUV also comes with ventilated seats, an electronically adjustable 8-way driver’s seat, ambient lighting, automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, a powered tailgate, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a heads-up display.
The Victoris will also be the first Maruti to offer Level 2 ADAS. Speaking of safety, it comes equipped with 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera, and TPMS. It has also secured a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
As for powertrain options, the Victoris will be offered with a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine, a 1.5-litre strong-hybrid, and a CNG version featuring underbody tanks. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic, while the strong-hybrid version gets an eCVT. An all-wheel-drive system will also be available on select variants.
