New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki launched its off -road SUV car Jimny at the Auto Expo in the country in January 2023, which received a tremendous response from the customers. Now Maruti has also removed the curtain from Jimny’s Limited Edition Heritage variants. This is a limited edition SUV, only 300 units will be made.

This heritage special edition model of Maruti Jimny will be introduced in three doors variants. Apart from this, it watches clamshal bonnet, round LED headlamp unit, a black-out grill with vertical slats, square-out ORVM, flared wheel arch with black cladding, five-spoke alloy wheels, retro-inspired decals and red-rad-uplappers Can meet Apart from this, it also has bumper mounted taillights, roof mounted antenna and tailgate mounted spare wheel.
Engine
Jimny’s heritage model has a 1.5 L four cylinder K15B petrol engine, which is capable of giving maximum power of 101bhp at 6,000 rpm and peak torque of 130Nm at 4,000 rpm. Which has been paired with a 5-speed manual standard gearbox for transmission. Along with this, it also has an option of 4-speed automatic (AMT) transmission. Maruti is using the same engine in this off road SUV, which is given in Brezza, Ertiga, S-Cross and Ciaz.

This heritage model of Jimney in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Supported 7.0 inch Infotainment System, Auto LED headlamps with high beam assist, auto climate control (ACC), cruise control, six airbags for safety, six airbags, antigen braking system, antigening braking system, antigent stability program, electronic stability program Seats, traction control, hill hold and hill decent control facility have also been provided with pre-tensioner and force-limators.
Price
Maruti has not announced its price yet. But according to estimates, it can be launched in the Indian market with a price of about Rs 10 lakh. It will compete with an off -road SUV like Mahindra’s Thar and Force Gurkha in Maruti Jimny domestic market.
