New Delhi: If you are planning to buy a new MPV car, there is a new car available in the market. Today, Maruti Suzuki has launched the Invicto MPV. The latest car is a rebadged version of the Toyota Innova Crysta. This means that the Invicto is essentially the same car as the Innova Crysta, except that it is being sold under the Maruti Suzuki brand. However, if you are considering buying the Invicto or the Innova Crysta, it would be better to know a few things. Doing so allows you to choose a good car for yourself and avoid any drawbacks.

Talking about the modern and comfortable MPVs, Maruti Invicto and Toyota Hycross are two options. If your budget is up to 25-30 lakhs INR, you can purchase either of these cars. Both MPVs come with similar performance and features. However, the two have some differences, which we will discuss further.

Maruti Invicto vs Toyota Hycross: Specifications Comparison
Maruti Invicto is launched with strong hybrid technology. The new MPV will feature a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine along with an electric motor. It will come with an e-CVT transmission. Invicto is Maruti’s first car to come with a full hybrid system and automatic transmission. It will also have an electric-only mode.

On the other hand, Toyota Hycross offers petrol and strong hybrid tech-based petrol engine options. It features a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Atkinson cycle engine similar to the Invicto. The hybrid version comes with an e-CVT e-Drive transmission. The Hycross also has a non-hybrid 2.0-liter petrol engine that comes with a CVT.

Maruti Invicto vs Toyota Hycross: Price Comparison
The ex-showroom price of Maruti Invicto ranges from 24.79 lakhs INR to 28.42 lakhs INR. On the other hand, the ex-showroom price of Toyota Innova Hycross starts from 18.55 lakhs INR and goes up to 29.99 lakhs INR. It should be noted that Invicto only offers the strong hybrid engine option, while Hycross also has a petrol engine option.

The Invicto without the petrol engine option is priced significantly higher. On the other hand, its top variant is 1.57 lakhs INR cheaper compared to the top-spec variant of the Hycross. However, even in the top model of Invicto, you won’t get ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) features that are available in the top-spec variant of the Hycross.

Maruti Invicto vs Toyota Hycross: Mileage Comparison
Mileage is an important factor to consider when buying a new car. Maruti Invicto is expected to offer good mileage due to its hybrid technology. Toyota Hycross, on the other hand, also offers decent mileage with its hybrid and petrol engine options. The exact mileage figures for Invicto are not yet available.

It is recommended to consider these factors and compare the features, prices, and mileage of both cars before making a decision.
