Maruti Suzuki Fronx CNG was launched on Wednesday under Maruti’s premium retail retail channel Nexa. The Fronx S-CNG is armed with features like Duel Front Airbags, SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, Reverse Parking Sensors and many others. This car is conceptualised and designed for young trendsetter.
Modern-age SUV
This modern-age SUV is powered by an Dual VVT engine that offers 57kW@6000rpm/ 77.5PS@6000rpm and 98.5Nm@4300rpm in CNG mode and Advanced 1.2L K-Series Dualjet. The trendy and sporty SUV is the latest addition to Maruti extensive S-CNG lineup, with a segment-leading fuel economy of 28.51km/kg.
The Fronx has received a ovewhelming response owing to its premium technology, design, advanced powertrain since its launch. It’s new-age design and dynamic road presence are drawing the attention of car lovers who are sporty and enviornment conscious as well.
Price range
Maruti Suzuki has launched its much-awaited Fronx SUV with the price range of Rs 7.46 lakh for its base model sigma variant and goes up to 13.13 lakh for its top model Alpha turbo variant. The Baleno-based Fronx has gathered a lot of bookings at the time of its debut at the Auto Expo.
The Fronx S-CNG will increase the share of S-CNG cars in overall sales of Maruti, and further strengthen green mobility portfolio.

The new fronx is available in 5 trims: Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta and Alpha. It is 5 colours option with a choice of two engine options.
ENGINE
The fronx has choice of two powertrains:
- a) 1 litre boosterjet turbo petrol engine
- b) 1.2 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine

The front-end of the car is inspired by the recently launched Grand Vitara.
