Maruti Suzuki will going to unveil its first electric SUV in the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025.
Maruti Suzuki is going to unveil its E Vitara, previously known as EVX , all Electric SUV in the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025 at Pragati Maidan. In terms of design, its has all black thick cladding outside running throughout the car. It was first launched in Milan, Italy. The E Vitara is has got a Y-shaped headlamps along with connected taillights and a thicker bumper at the rear. The rear door handles are mounted in the C-pillar and a charging port on the fender.
Interior
Inside, the e Vitara gets a feature packed cabin along with dual screen setup. According to the reports, e Vitara will likely to get level 2 ADAS, 360 degree parking camera and electronic parking brake with auto hold function. Along with this several key features include wireless charging, front ventilated seats, automatic climate control and cruise control.
Powertrains
Under the hood, The e Vitara is equipped with two battery packs i.e. 49kWh and 61 kWh. The 49kWh unit will only be available in 2WD configuration. The 61kWh unit will offer two configuration i.e. 2WD and 4WD, along with Maruti Suzuki’s ALLGRIP-e 4WD system. It is expected to offer a range of around 500km. However the AWD variant will be equipped with dual motor setup, producing 184 bhp of power and 300nm of torque.
Moreover, this SUV comes with 4235mm of length and 2700mm of wheelbase, which indicates a greater cabin space. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will directly compete with the upcoming Hyundai Creta EV, MG ZS EV, and the Tata Curvv EV. Hyundai Creta EV will going to be launched soon in January 2025. It is expected to be priced between Rs 20 to 30 lakh.
