Maruti Suzuki Alto 800: The festive season has begun in India, and many automakers will begin selling new vehicles such as the new Scorpio N, Toyota’s Hyrider, and Maruti’s Grand Vitara. Though their prices start around Rs 10 lakh, there are some vehicles that you can bring home with a down payment of just Rs 1 lakh and get around 32 kilometres per gallon.

We’re talking about a Maruti Suzuki car that can travel 32 kilometres on one kilogramme of CNG and has an annual maintenance cost of only Rs. 3,000. This vehicle is known as the Alto CNG, and it costs approximately five lakh sixty thousand rupees.

You can bring it home with just a Rs 90,000 down payment and the remaining 4.7 lakh via loan, with monthly instalments of Rs 7,562 for a seven-year loan and around Rs 9,800 for a five-year loan and driving. A kilometre will only cost you 2.5 rupees.

The Alto 800 CNG is available in the LXI(O) variant, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 5 lakh and the rest, including insurance and road tax, costing around Rs 560,000. It travels 31 kilometres per kilogramme of CNG and 31 kilometres per kilogramme of gasoline. It has a range of about 22 kilometres.

This model includes features such as front power windows, air conditioning, power steering, two airbags, ABS, and reverse parking sensors. It has a 3 cylinder 792cc engine that produces 48 PS power and 69 Nm torque in petrol mode and 41 PS power and 60 Nm torque in CNG mode. It rides on 12 inch tyres.

The front wheels are equipped with disc brakes, while the rear wheels are equipped with drum brakes. The petrol tank capacity is 35 litres, and this vehicle is available in six different colours. It is the most affordable hatchback in terms of price, and approximately 45 lakh units of this vehicle have been sold in India.
