New Delhi: India’s top carmaker Maruti Suzuki Jimny is getting tremendous response from the customers. The company had introduced this car at the Auto Expo held in January, soon after which its bookings were also opened. Till now the company has received more than 23,500 bookings for this off road car. Although the company has not yet announced its prices. In the domestic market, it competes with off road cars like Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha.
Maruti Jimny Showcase Time
Maruti Suzuki is showcasing its off road SUV car 5 door Jimny at Nexa dealership. This showcase is to be done in different cities in different phases. Which has started from 26 March and will continue till 7 April 2023. In the first phase, the company will present its off-road car at 30 dealerships in 9 cities. These include Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Mohali, Ludhiana, Raipur, Bhubaneswar and Bengaluru. Right now the company is only showcasing this car. Its test drive will be started later.

Will be available in two variants
Maruti Suzuki will sell this car in two variants (Zeta and Alpha). The company can place it between Brezza and Grand Vitara. On the other hand, Maruti’s Jimny 5-door is being liked more than its 3-door variant, due to which this variant is more practical.

Will compete with
This off road car of Maruti has a tough competition with two cars in its segment. In which the first is Mahindra’s Thar, whose price ranges from Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 16.49 lakh and the second number is the Force Gurkha off-road car, which costs Rs 14.74 lakh.
