New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki Baleno Cross was spotted testing. The crossover (codenamed YTB) based on the Baleno will most likely be unveiled at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo. The Baleno Cross appears to be a coupe-style vehicle. The front fascia is distinctive, with split LED headlamps and a large grille with chrome inserts. The Baleno Cross will most likely be built on the Heartect platform. According to reports, it could be powered by the BoosterJet turbo-petrol engine that was previously available in the Baleno RS. Maruti may also provide a hybrid powertrain.
Overview of the New Maruti Baleno SUV Coupe
Maruti has chosen a crossover coupe bodystyle while keeping interior space to a minimum. The roof line does not taper steeply towards the back, as it does on the Futuro-e, but rather resembles the Baleno hatchback.

The front fascia, with its chrome-lined trapezoidal grille, low-set headlamps, and high-mounted narrow LED DRLs, embraces the Grand Vitara’s new family identity. The exterior is completed by a raked rear windshield, a boot-lid integrated spoiler, and a large bumper.
We’ll have to wait for a look inside, but we believe many components, including a standalone infotainment display, will be borrowed from the new Grand Vitara. The fully loaded variant will have multiple airbags, automatic climate control, leather seats, and cutting-edge connectivity.
