Mahindra, one of the India’s leading manufacturers has made significant improvement in their cars, in terms of design. features and powertrains. It has revealed more details about its upcoming electric vehicles ahead of their official launch on 26 November. The XEV 9E and BE 6E are built on Mahindra’s newly developed INGLO platform, which is especially developed for EVs. The purpose behind developing this platforms, is to accommodate various configurations and powertrains. Mahindra has revealed details about the battery, powertrains and charging etc.

According to the reports, the upcoming electric cars will be equipped with a 59KWH and a 79KWH battery packs. These Lithium-ion batteries will able to attain a maximum charging speed of 175KWH, which can charge from 20percent to 80percent in just 20 minutes. These battery packs will also provide a range of around 500km in single charge.

Mahindra has also revealed details about, what sort of performance we can expect? The upcoming cars will be powered by single electric motor mounted along the rear axle. It will offer a power output ranging between 228 bhp and 282 bhp.

According to the reports, these cars will likely to get dual screen and a trip screen layout. All other features include wireless charging, a massive panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats and ADAS technology.

It is claimed that, these SUVs to be more safe due to their ultra high strength boron steel being used to build their INGLO platform.
