New Delhi: At present, several car manufacturers are introducing their electric versions of vehicles in the market, while some are preparing for it. In such a scenario, if you are a fan of Mahindra cars, you will be pleased to know that the brand is bringing an electric vehicle for you. Mahindra’s XUV700 has been well-received by many people in India. Now, the brand is fully prepared to follow the trend by introducing a king-size SUV in its electric avatar. Mahindra will launch its 5 different electric SUVs on the INGLO platform.
The SUV has been spotted during testing in Chennai, revealing some special features, design details, and body structure. According to the leaks, you can expect several features similar to its existing fuel version in terms of design. You may witness some cosmetic changes, such as a different set of grills, EV badging on the sides, and possible cosmetic updates at the rear. Reports suggest that the upcoming EV might draw inspiration from the original XUV.e8 prototype.
It will be equipped with EV ADAS technology
The upcoming car may feature three screens instead of two, which are seen in the ICE XUV700. One screen will be for the front passenger, another for entertainment purposes, and the third will be a digital instrument cluster for the driver. Additionally, it is expected to come with extra safety features and EV ADAS technology.
It could come with a battery capacity between 60 and 80 kW. The vehicle can be available in both RWD single-motor and AWD twin-motor configurations. The range of the upcoming car could exceed 450 km.
