New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has announced the prices of its first electric C-SUV ‘XUV400’. The company launched it in two variants EC and EL. The price of the base variant ex-showroom has been kept at Rs 15.99 lakh, which will increase to Rs 18.99 lakh. These are introductory prices that will be available to the first 5,000 customers.
Mahindra will give this SUV competition from the Tata Nexon EV. It can travel 456 km on a single charge. Its maximum speed is 160 km/h. Mahindra claimed to deliver 20,000 units of the XUV400 to customers within a year of its launch. The company said bookings for the electric SUV will begin from January 26 in 34 cities.
Range
The deliveries of the XUV400 EL will start from March this year while the deliveries of the EC variant will start during the Diwali festive season. The company offers a warranty of 8 years or 160,000 kilometers on the battery and engine of this SUV. Mahindra claims the fastest acceleration in the non-luxury car segment. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km in 8.3 seconds.

Colors availability
The car is available in Arctic Blue, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Napoli Black and Infinity Blue. There will be a two-tone variant on the roof that will get a satin copper finish.
Battery and range The Mahindra XUV400 EC variant has a 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that generates 150 PS of power and 310 Nm of torque. It can cover a distance of 375 kilometers on one full charge.
Customers can take a 3.3 kW or 7.2 kW charger with it. The XUV400 EL variant is powered by a 39.4 kWh lithium-ion battery that generates 150 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque. It provides a range of 456 km on a full charge. This variant comes with a 7.2kW charger.
60 Plus connectivity features
The smartwatch will also be able to connect with more than 60 best-in-class connectivity features. There will also be a 2600mm wheelbase, 378-litre boot, electric power steering, throttle and regeneration response system.

Copper can also be found in the new rear LED lamp. The widest car in the C segment will get 3 intelligent driving modes, including sports. The car with an overall length of 4200 mm and a width of 1821 mm is also dust and water resistant.
