New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra has recently launched its first electric car XUV400 in the market. Which is very much liked by the people who are going to buy an electric car. Because of which the company continues to get bookings for it. This electric car has been introduced in two variants EC and EL.
Booking started from 26 January
Mahindra started booking for its first electric car on 26th January i.e. Republic Day and within just a few days the company has received more than 10,000 bookings. The company has kept the booking amount for this electric car at Rs 21,000.

Price
Mahindra had kept the price of this car at Rs 15.99 lakh ex-showroom for the first 5,000 customers who booked this car. At the same time, the price of the top model of this car is Rs 18.99 lakh. Mahindra is making this car available in 34 cities of the country.
Extended waiting period
Mahindra has increased the waiting period of this electric car to seven months. The reason for which is the tremendous bookings being done for this car. Earlier, Mahindra was going to start the delivery of EL variant of its electric car XUV400 from the coming March and delivery of EC variant in the festive season, but now it has been extended by seven months.
Power pack
Mahindra’s electric car XUV400 has a 34.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. At the same time, a 39.4 kWh battery pack has been given in its high-spec EL variant. Apart from this, it is given two charging options, the first 3.3 kW charging option and the second 7.2 kW charging option.

Power range
The top spec EL variant of the Mahindra XUV400 will be capable of offering a drive range of 456 km on a single charge. While the EC variant can have a range of up to 375 km. Both the variants will produce maximum power of 50 PS and highest torque of 310 Nm. Mahindra is targeting to deliver 20,000 units of this car this year itself.
