One of the most talked about and much-anticipated Mahindra XUV 3XO, the facelift version of the XUV300, has finally been launched in the country. Putting an end to the speculations and rumours surrounding the XUV 3XO, Mahindra has now officially revealed the all details of the car. The XUV 3XO’s features list has received a major update including design inspiration from the brand’s upcoming BE family of electric SUVs. The car also comes in a new automatic option offered with one of the petrol engines. Here’s a detailed look at the design, features, specs and pricing of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO:
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Design And Colour Options
Mahindra has made some noticeable improvements as we saw in various teasers released previously. The updates include a new two-part grille, new LED DRLs, a sharper nose, and a revised front bumper and headlamp. At the rear, the tailgate with sleeker C-shaped lights and a full-width LED light bar, appears more elegant. A new set of alloy wheels with a dark chrome finish is available with higher-end variants.
The XUV 3XO comes with a vibrant colour palette having seven exterior shades including Deep Forest, Everest White, Citrine Yellow, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, and Dune Dust. Furthermore, the higher-end PRO trims also get dual-tone paint schemes.

Interior And Features
While the interior remains similar to that of the XUV400 EV, the XUV 3XO gets added creature comforts and safety features. The feature list on the top-spec AX7L PRO includes a seven-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with a 380W amplifier, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen and driver display, all-LED lighting, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Adrenox Connect in-car connectivity suite, rear AC vents, a wireless charger, a front 65W Type C charging port, a rear Type-C charger, 295 litres boot space, soft-touch materials on dash, and 60:40 split-folding seats.
In terms of safety, all the variants are equipped with ISOFIX anchors, six airbags, ESP, and rear disc brakes, while the higher-spec trims get a 360-degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, hill-start and hill descent assist, blind spot monitor, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold.
Engine Specs And Performance
The entry-level MX1, MX2 PRO, MX3 and AX5 variants are equipped with the 111hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor. The former offers an ARAI-rated mileage of 18.89kmpl, while the latter provides 17.96kmpl.
While most of the variants of the XUV 3XO are powered by a 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel with 6-speed manual and AMT options, the AXL5L trims and higher are equipped with the 131hp, 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-petrol unit connected to a 6-speed torque convertor (automatic option) sourced from Aisin. This engine gives 18.2kmpl of mileage.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Price And Variants
The XUV 3XO is offered in 18 variants with prices starting from Rs 7.49 lakh for the entry-level XUV 3XO MX1 to Rs 15.49 lakh for the top-spec AX7L. Notably, the price of the automatic range of the Mahindra XUV 3XO starts at Rs 9.99 lakh, while the first XUV variant with a sunroof, the MX2 PRO, has a starting price tag of Rs 8.99 lakh.
The price of the top-end variant is lower than the Tata Nexon (Rs 8.15 lakh-15.80 lakh) and the Kia Sonet (Rs 7.99 lakh-15.75 lakh). The nine trim lines available are: MX1, MX2, MX2 PRO, MX3, MX3 PRO, AX5, AX5 L, AX7 and AX7 L.
