Variant Comparison
As a customer if you are after the styling of the vehicle and do not want all the bells and whistles of the top model, we would recommend that you go for the base model. As the base would evidently have the same design as the top model, without a few chrome garnishes and accents that are visible on the higher end variants. The XEV9e pack 1 range is the perfect entry point for any one who is looking for a bare bone vehicle without much hassles of the electric gadgets, as it would have only most the necessary ones.
The models and variants of both the BE6 as well as the XEV 9e have been demarcated based on the battery size. Hence if you choose the lower end variants of the XEV 9e out would get the 59 KWH battery pack that would give you the extended range of around 542 km.
In comparison the top model has a 79 KWH battery with a choice for the 59 kwh battery as well. The larger battery of the pack offers 282 bhp from the electric motors and can supposedly deliver a range of around 656 km per full charge. The vehicle also supports fast charging and would provide you with all the features that a EV owner would seek in a new EV.
Feature List Of The Base Variant
The base variant would have 19 inch steel wheels, connected led DRL’s in the front fascia, led tail lamps as well. The headlight units would have halogen bulbs. The base variant would have fabric upholstery and the base variant gets the same 3 screen layout that has been seen on the top model as well. So the lower spec buyers would not feel left out.
