Mahindra Thar Roxx SUV: Mahindra announced prices for the Thar Roxx quite before but the bookings for this off-roader is live from today. Bookings for the Thar Roxx remains open at all Mahindra dealerships and online portal as well. 

Thar Roxx deliveries are reportedly to begin from October 12. However, long waiting periods are likely for the buyers of this off-roader. The Thar Roxx has been one of the most anticipated launches of this year. In line with that the carmaker has secured over 1.76 lakh bookings for this off-roader, in just 60 minutes.

The 1.76 lakh plus figure is the highest first-day booking for any of the company’s products, reported AutoCar India. Mahindra has reportedly allocated a monthly output of 6,500 units for the Thar Roxx.

The Thar Roxx is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. However, Thar Roxx’s 4×4 variants are available only with a diesel engine. They are powered by Mahindra’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It is paired with a manual gearbox that generates 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the automatic gearbox delivers impressive 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.

Features of the car include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with compatibility for wireless Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, front parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, Leatherette seats, auto-dimming IRVM, tyre pressure monitor, level 2 ADAS features, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, electric parking brake, connected car features, 19-inch alloys, powered driver seat, cooled glovebox, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and power-folding ORVMs.

The Thar Roxx is available in MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L variants, with prices starting from ₹12.99 lakh and going up to ₹22.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
