Mahindra Thar Roxx: Mahindra announced prices for the Thar Roxx quite before but the customers will be able to book this off-roader SUV online starting October 3, 2024. The booking amount has been set at ₹21,000, as per the report of Autocar India.
The Thar Roxx is offered with both petrol and diesel engine options. However, car’s 4×4 variants versions are available only with a diesel engine and are powered by Mahindra’s 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It is paired with a manual gearbox that generates 150 bhp and 330 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the automatic gearbox delivers impressive 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque, making it a great choice for off-road enthusiasts.

Features of the car include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with compatibility for wireless Android Auto and wired Apple CarPlay, wireless charger, front parking sensors, panoramic sunroof, Leatherette seats, auto-dimming IRVM, tyre pressure monitor, level 2 ADAS features, automatic climate control, digital instrument cluster, electric parking brake, connected car features, 19-inch alloys, powered driver seat, cooled glovebox, 360-degree camera, ventilated front seats and power-folding ORVMs.
Price
The Thar Roxx is available in MX1, MX3, MX5, AX3L, AX5L, and AX7L variants, with prices starting from ₹12.99 lakh and going up to ₹22.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Deliveries
The Thar Roxx’s deliveries are expected with the festival of Dussehra on October 12, 2024.
Rivals
The Mahindra Thar Roxx rivals the Maruti Suzuki Jimny and the Force Gurkha 5 door. It can also be considered a rival of compact SUVs like Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and the Tata Curvv SUV-coupe.
