New Delhi: Mahindra launched the new Scorpio-N SUV on 27 June 2022. The deliveries of the new SUV will begin from September 2022. The SUV has received an unprecedented response from car buyers as it has registered 100,000 bookings in just 30 minutes.

Mahindra has shared a video of the production of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV and the first few units rolling off the production line at its Chakan plant.

A new video reveals the production process of the new Mahindra Scorpio-N. The company aims to deliver 20,000 units of the new Scorpio-N by December 2022. Get priority in delivery of the top-of-the-range Z8L variant.

The introductory prices of the new SUV variants are valid for the first 25,000 bookings. It is available at an introductory price of Rs 11.99 lakh. This is for the base variant and Rs 23.9 lakh for the top-spec model.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is offered with two powertrains – the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel.

While the petrol engine delivers 200 PS of power and 370 Nm (MT)/380 Nm (AT) of torque, the diesel offers 130 PS of power with 300 Nm of torque on the lower variants and 175 PS of 370 Nm (MT)/400 Nm (AT) on the higher variants.

Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic torque converter.

The diesel model will include either RWD or AWD (all-wheel drive). It offers 3 driving modes – Zip, Zap and Zoom. The 4×4 variant called 4Xplorer offers 4 terrain modes – sand, mud, grass and snow.

In terms of features, the SUV gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital driver display, built-in Alexa technology, connected car technology, Sony 3D sound system, power sunroof, dual-zone climate control, air purifier and others.

For safety and security, the SUV include 6 airbags, ESP, TPMS, hill hold and descent assist, traction control, ABS with EBD, driver drowsiness detection system and rear parking camera.
