New Delhi: Mahindra has officially started accepting bookings for the all-new Scorpio-N in India today (July 30), with the SUV setting a new record. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has garnered over 1 lakh bookings worth Rs 18,000 crore within 30 minutes.
In fact, the company has claimed that within a minute of the booking started, this SUV had got the order for the first 25,000 units, after which the figure increased to 1 lakh units within just half an hour.
It is worth noting that the company had already clarified that the price at which the SUV has been launched was its initial prices and will be valid only for the first 25,000 bookings, after which the car will be given to the customers at the time of delivery.
The initial launch prices of the new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N starts at Rs.11.99 Lakh, going up to Rs.23.90 Lakh, (ex-showroom) for the higher variant.
Mahindra is giving customers an opportunity to change their booking details including the variant and color booked till the midnight of August 15. The deliveries of Mahindra Scorpio-N will start from September 26.
According to the company, over 20,000 units of the Scorpio-N are planned to be manufactured and delivered by December 2022 and the top-spec Z8L variant will be given priority in manufacturing.
Talking about the interiors, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio-N has received a complete makeover. The dashboard looks classy and premium and at the same time is loaded with a lot of technical features.
The cabin has got a dual-tone brown and black finish with brushed satin trims on the door handles and center console. The new Scorpio-N will come in six and seven-seater configurations and the front facing will get a third row, which will not only enhance passenger comfort but will also help the SUV get a better safety rating in crash tests.
